Information about renewing your AMTRA status for 2022 is sent to all AMTRA RAMAs in mid-October, by email or by post. Anyone wanting to continue to act as an AMTRA RAMA after 31 December 2021 should have paid their annual renewal fee or had it paid by their employer by 30 November to avoid late fees. VMD will be notified of those for whom no payment had been made.
Individual RAMAs can pay by logging in with their AMTRA Login, usually your first name with your AMTRA number e.g. John10002. Please contact AMTRA if you are unsure of your login details.
Employers can log in using their AMTRA Employer Login, usually the employer contact Forename and Surname to pay for their RAMAs, or to remove RAMAs who no longer work for them. Employer contacts who are also RAMAs should log in with their personal AMTRA Login where they can also manage their personal details.
When paid by 30 November 2021 for the following year, the renewal fee is:
farm-animal RAMAs (those with the letters R, G, K or L in their prefix): £51, or £48/£50 including the discount described below
all other RAMAs (those with the letters, C, E, J or A in their prefix): £46, or £43/£45 including the discount described below
A discount of £3 per person is available in October, or a discount of £1 in November, to those paying by the due date either online on the AMTRA website (either as individuals or smaller businesses paying for multiple RAMAs), or for larger businesses managing their RAMAs’ renewals on their behalf in an agreed manner.
A late payment fee is charged on those renewing after 30 November 2021 but by 31 March 2022, making the total fee £61. After this, the reinstatement fee of £71 is payable.
