AMTRA and Harper Adams University online training for SQP/RAMA qualification

AMTRA in conjunction with Harper Adams University now offers ONLINE training to support qualification for the role of SQP/RAMA.

This is a great online training collaboration between AMTRA and Harper Adams. The training supports the journey to our range of level four & level five modules leading to the SQP/RAMA qualification, offering various routes to qualification according to professional need.

Many candidates find the AMTRA training manual, together with support from their employer, is a solid basis for getting ready to sit the AMTRA/Harper Adams exams. But for those wanting a bit more support, this new online training course offers a great opportunity to mix recorded content and live interaction with knowledgeable and experienced tutors.

There are eleven SQP qualifications depending on which species, or combination of species students will be working with, chosen from farm animals, companion animals, , and equine. Students should register with AMTRA (see sign up details below) to enrol on a training course which will be delivered online by Harper Adams University.

How the online training for SQP/RAMA qualification works:

  • Following successful enrolment onto the training course, candidates will have 12 months’ access to the online resources
  • The online resources comprise pre-recorded webinars and lectures as well as a range of other resources
  • There are regular sessions offering live access to tutors, where candidates can ask questions and discuss the content of the training
  • The pace of study is flexible and determined by the needs of each candidate. Harper Adams staff will work closely with students on an individual basis to set the pace of training according to the student’s needs and tailor a plan to meet their learning goals within their required timescales
