Podcast: Information on bluetongue for prescribing RAMAs/SQPs

AMTRA has partnered with industry experts to record a podcast to provide a helpful source of information on bluetongue disease for SQPs/RAMAs on the frontline of product prescription and supply.

In the podcast AMTRA CEO, Stephen Dawson, is joined by Nerys Wright, an independent sheep consultant and a farm animal SQP, plus Marion England and Chris Sanders who are both Research Fellows at The Pirbright Institute.

In a regulatory sense bluetongue is outside the direct remit of SQPs/RAMAs but in a practical sense they have an important role, for example in countering any misinformation or misunderstandings around the potential use of the POM-VPS medicines they do supply which can lead to farmers wasting their money or worse, hurting their ability to tackle other parasite problems on farm. Click on the player below to hear from our experts (or click the link to download the file if you want to transfer to another device).
